<p style="color: #424858">Relinquishing its collective Abercrombie &amp; Fitch flannel shirts for suits and ties, Generation X was buying its first homes just as the Farrelly brothers—directors of &#8220;There&#8217;s Something About Mary&#8221;—were hitting the movie scene and the real estate market was warming up.</p>
